Each year, Luxury Coach & Transportation Magazine awards the best players in the luxury coach and transportation business for their high standards, best practices and stellar performance. This year’s award ceremony took place Feb. 18, at The Venetian in Las Vegas, and recognized, for the first time ever, operators outside of the United States, in addition to all those operators located nationwide.
In the 31–44 vehicle category (operators with a fleet of 31-44 vehicles), Teddy’s Transportation System won Luxury Coach & Transportation Operator of the Year, beating out an array of other very impressive contenders to come out on top as the best in the biz for an operation with such a large fleet size.
LCT Operator of the Year honorees are judged by an esteemed panel. The honorees are evaluated on all aspects of operation, including customer service, technology, training, media and marketing, safety and community and industry involvement. Applicants are split according to fleet size, with categories including 1–10 vehicles, 11–30 vehicles, 31–44 vehicles and 45+ vehicles. Awards are also given for motor coach operators and international operators.
Luxury Coach & Transportation Magazine pointed out a few of the things that made Teddy’s worthy of the 2020 Operator of the Year award in its category, noting that,
“Teddy’s is an established company that goes back generations to the era before World War II. But don’t let its age fool you. The company deploys a raft of the latest technologies that keep its clients constantly connected and tracks every aspect of chauffeured service. Dashcams, e-signs, self-booking, mobile devices and chauffeur mobile data terminals are just a few of the advances of the innovation menu.”
The recognition means the world to Teddy’s, as we continue to strive toward excellence in every single service we provide, every day, with every client and every one of our experienced chauffeurs.
“Approaching 90 years helping our busiest neighbors safely optimize rigorous business travel and maximize their family time is always rewarding,” said Charles Wisniewski, Teddy’s president for more than 30 years. “Pushing each other to continuously deliver genuine client care and comfort encourages a lot of great fan mail. Though we do love what we do, fifty-two staff members clock a lot of pre-dawn alarms, frigid conditions, world-class traffic and weekends on the road. So garnering national peer recognition – again – is enormously inspiring.”
Luxury Coach & Transportation Magazine has been the top trade media brand for the chauffeured transportation industry for more than 30 years, reaching thousands of industry leaders with its print and online media. Having the LCT seal of approval on Teddy’s operations as a 2020 Operator of the Year is just one more way Teddy’s can show its current and future clients how we strive to set ourselves apart from the competition.
