More and more companies are implementing travel risk management (TRM) protocols for their employees in increasing numbers, according to a study released by the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).

Of the 250 travel managers, security officers and human resources personnel surveyed, 83% reported their travel programs have TRM protocols in place to ensure the safety and well-being of their business travelers.

Of the ones who don’t, 60% said they are planning to adopt TRM protocols within the next two years.

The Ride Responsibly™ campaign is an initiative to bridge the gap between the rights of passengers and the responsibilities of service providers.

Ride Responsibly™ will establish best safety practices for prearranged car services and transportation network companies (TNCs). I also joined Advocates for Fairness in Transportation, an ad hoc group of regulated service companies dedicated to informing and educating the public on threats to public safety from TNCs.
